I have the privilege of doing what I love. Not many people get to say that. I work in a church and I am in seminary. To many that might not seem that terribly exciting. Five years ago it would not have sounded that great to me either. Somehow God took an aspiring engineering student in high school and brought him through five schools and three states to my current residence in Orlando, FL in about five years. It’s a little mind boggling and quite confusing. That seems to be how life is. It’s confusing. Maybe it’s the perspective a twenty-three year old with not too much life experience, maybe not. The title of this entry is “parameters.” This blog is not about theology, church life, relationships, complaining, rejoicing, personal devotions, and all the other various topics that I can’t seem to think about right now. It’s about life. Life is not compartmentalized into topics and subtopics. It is a beautiful blend of the spiritual, physical, and emotional. Albert Einstein best says it when he commented, “True religion is real living.” This blog will hopefully be just that, my living. In doing so I hope that a glimpse of my life, in all its confusion, may reflect God and His beauty.
